Après les événements sanglants de 1994 dans notre pays le Rwanda, les gens qui étaient restés après cette tragédie avez besoin d’être consolés et réorienté voire réanimés de la foi dans la parole de Dieu Ce n’était pas facile de trouver la solution adéquate surtout que nombreux d’entre eux étaient des orphelins et des veuves qui ont été témoins oculaires pendant le génocide commis par leurs frères dont parmi eux il y avait les chrétiens a qui on priait ensemble. C’est ainsi qu’après une longue période de prière, nous avons eu la Vision de commencer une Eglise afin de pouvoir restaurer les cœurs brisés, abattus, désespérés et même déçus presque complètement à cause du génocide.
Cependant, en date du 05/ Mars 2002, l’Eglise Evangélique de la Charité au Rwanda est née au Pays des mille collines dans la ville de Kigali la capitale administrative du Rwanda.
NOTRE MISSION
La Sainte Bible nous a donné la grande mission d’atteindre le monde entier pour l’évangélisation Matthieu 28 :19-20.
Pour ce faire, nous devons bien entendu proclamer l’évangile au Rwanda, pays ayant été déchiré par les blessures du génocide. Nous devons ensuite ramener l’honneur et l’autorité de l’Eglise qui a été perdu pendant les moments douloureux du génocide. Hormis l’évangélisation au Rwanda, nous devons encore la tâche de prêcher la Bonne Nouvelle dans toutes les parties du monde en commençant par l’Afrique notre fameux continent et très bientôt atteindre les autres continents. Tout ceci nous allons le faire sous l’obédience de la prière qui est l’un des piliers de notre Eglise de la Charité. Au fur et à mesure que nous les personnes habilitées de pousser l’Evangile nous espérons que notre Eglise va accroitre et toucher tous les coins du monde pour faire la transformation à travers la parole divine l’aide de Saint Esprit qui nous fortifie jour après jour.

We believe Jesus Christ as Son of God, he became man through the power of the Holy Spirit and he was born by Marie; Luc 2:1-6
We believe also that Jesus was crucified for us and he died because our sins John 1:1-18
We believe that the Holy Spirit is ever wish the Church to, strength it, purify it, and leading it Acts 2:33
We believe that to repent is to be changed sincerely from sins by the power of the Holy Spirit. If the human beings confess with their tongues within the congregation and in front of the almighty God their sins are forgiven.
III. COMING BACK OF JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ will come back to take his Church, the dead believers will rise and the people who will be present will be changed both going to meet him in heaven Rev 1:7-8
IV. THE RESURECTION
We believe that the dead in Jesus name will rise one day with Him. They will receive eternal life as it is promised. But the dead not believe in Jesus will be in judgment by God.
We believe that each person must be judged according to his deeds.
We believe that we have the everlasting life in Jesus Christ our Savior.

Senior Pastor & Legal Representative of Evangelical Charity Church of Rwanda is MUKIZA Ibumba Tharcisse
WHO IS PASTOR Tharcisse
He was born 3th, March, 1963 in Democratic Republic of Congo, Estern Province, South Kivu. He is married with NYIRANTORE Helene and they have 7 children, 3 boys and 4 girls. The first one is called John NKUNZINGOMA who is also Pastor in our Church. The last one is called Yvonne NYINAWUMWAMI and has 13years old.
STUDIES.
Pastor Tharcisse studied Pedagogy and Psychology school, again he studied laws in 1997-1998. He also received formation of Bible studies in College 1999-2000. At the end he currently studied theology in Faculty Evangelical theology of Rwanda, from 2004-2008 there he got a Degree in Theology.
HIS CALLING
Before telling the calling of Pastor Ibumba Tharcisse, let us talk shortly his calling from pagan life to Christian life. Our mighty God called Pastor in 1979. Since that time he continued to pray and God has done many thinks for him as well as to become singer and Evangelist for preaching the holy Gospel. From 1980, the Pastor’s calling has come upon him, but he waited the good time that God planed for him. From 1982-1986 he become an Evangelist in the local Church. From 1987-1990 this man was Secretary of Church. Pastor Tharcisse became adviser of Senior Pastor and special delegate near Bishop. He was too Deacon in the Church, President of Youth Department and good interpreter from different languages, He was also Coordinator and Conductor of Choir in Church. Therefore, Pastor Ibumba Tharcisse is a man who is enjoying every time because of salvation which he fund in Jesus Christ.
BECOMING PASTOR
After genocide in Rwanda 1994, Pastor Tharcisse coming back in Rwanda, he attended his country in July 1997. Because he has Pastor calling from God a long time, he becomes Pastor in October 2002 as Senior Pastor and Legal Representative of Evangelical Charity Church of Rwanda. Since that time, the Church continues growing day after day. Our mighty God has a good plan for him because there is a lot of promises for our Pastor in particular and for the Church in general. Pastor Mukiza Ibumba Tharcisse has a special Leadership for the Church with faith, pray and perseverance through the anointing man in Central Africa, Our Pastor go on to restore the broken hearts of Rwandese people in particular and the all African people and doing reconciliation among the different people in the world. Because our Church has many Christians who are orphans and widows both are survivors of genocide he working hard for preaching Gospel as medicine of that broken hearts. Nevertheless, he has too a vision to reach many countries as soon as possible preaching, teaching and counseling the persons who lost hope and faith from God. So, in all hard work of Church, His wife Helene help him as a special adviser and pray both for the Church so that God realize the promises upon his anointed man.
Dedicated to the Spiritual and Physical healing of the broken-hearted, wounded survivors in a land haunted by the terrible visions of past atrocities.
